Class 24 [Also in Group XXX] An endless chain conveyer comprises rectangular link plates 10 mounted in staggered rows on spindles 11 and spaced by rollers or sleeves 12, the corners 14<SP>1</SP> of the plates being cut away so that as they round the end sprocket 15, Fig. 4, at the feed end of the conveyer they present substantially horizontal surfaces to the articles fed on to the conveyer.
