Class 69(iii) A pocket atomizer has liquid and piston pumping chambers A and B respectively, and a lid member 2, pivoted at 18, engages a groove 1<SP>1</SP> in a spring biased pivoted lid member 1 to close the liquid outlet of a tube 19, and to lock the piston 7 in a closed position. A pin 21 closes the liquid outlet, and the piston is locked by a stop 11 acting on a spring-loaded plunger 13 engaging an annular groove 10 in the piston rod 4. When unlocked the piston is forced outwardly to the limit of its travel by a spring 8.
