Abstract
693,551. Fuel. VLOEBERGHS, A. Jan. 15, 1948 [Dec. 17, 1947], No. 1247/48. Class 50 A resinous distillate, obtained from the treatment of residual lye from the manufacture of cellulose, is used as a fuel-binder in the production of fuel agglomerates. The distillate may be a crude oil known as crude pine oil, and further distillations may be effected to produce less crude products for use as binders. Several such distillates may be applied to the fuel. The distillates may be refined oils, a liquid or solid resin, the latter being applied to the fuel preferably in powder form, or a distillate of true glue.
