Class 46 A dual filter cloth for a filter press (e.g. for potters' clay), comprising two cloths interconnected by a feed pipe has a backing of loosely-woven or reticulated plastic material attached to each cloth adjacent its edges by nylon or plastic thread to provide a combination filter cloth impervious to mildew spores. A hem for the purpose set forth in Specification 500,669 may be formed by folding and stitching at the top of each cloth.
