Abstract

626,703. Bed and perambulator coverings. GUEST, A. W. May 31, 1946, No. 16605. [Class 142 (iv)] A perambulator, bed or like covering comprises a fabric sheet 5 to which a number of fabric strips 11 are secured by lines of stitching 13, 13a, so as to form pockets 10 for warmth-retaining pads 15, flaps 14 forming releasable closures for the pockets. The flaps 14 may comprise either lateral extensions of the strips 11 or separate strips secured to the sheet 5. Plain marginal extensions 17 are provided at the sides of the covering. The pockets may be arranged in any desired pattern. In a modification, Fig. 4 (not shown), the pockets are in the form of tunnels. In a further modification, Fig. 5 (not shown), the closure flaps are fastened to the pockets by means of buttons and buttonholes.
