688,441. Removing dough shapes from die rolls. RINGNALDA, J. B. G. June 7, 1951 [June 8, 1950], No. 13512/51. Class 87 (ii). [Also in Group XXX] The conveyer band 3 which removes moulded dough pieces from a die roller has a lateral interruption to loosen the dough pieces on the conveyer. As shown in Fig. 2, the band 3 is moved out of its path to form the interruption by members 7, 8, 10. A roller 9 driven by friction from the roller 8 assists in the loosening of the pieces. In a modification, Fig. 3, a spiral spring 12 and two rollers 9 are located in the interruption of the band. Waste material may fall through the spring 12 onto an endless discharge belt. The delivery end of the conveyer band may pass round a roller 11. A knife may be provided beneath the conveyer to clean it.
