Classes 122(ii) and 122(iii) The fluid supply to each end of the wind-screen wiper motor cyinder 10 is controlled by a two-part distributing valve, one part 106 being tappet operated from the motor piston by adjustable stops, and controlling fluid suuply to the second part 130 which in its turn controls fluid to the cylinder. When the wiper is stopped by closing the valve 150 pressure fluid reverses the differential valve 152, this supplying pressure fluid to the cylinder exhaust port 146 and so holds the piston 70 at its end or parking position.
