[Also in Group XXXVI] A coated fabric comprises an openwork layer of glass fibre threads embedded between layers of rubber or rubber-like bonding material such as neoprene, which layers are bonded with the glass layer, and, through the interstices thereof, with each other. The glass fibre threads are preferably woven into a fabric having an open weave, both sides of which are calender-coated with neoprene.
