686,801. Cupboards, screens. BERKELEY COACHWORK, Ltd. Sept. 5, 1951 [Sept. 5, 1950], No. 21872/50. Class 52(iii) A cupboard has one side wall 2 of greater depth than the other side wall 3 and a door formed of two or more members 4,5 hinged together at 6 at adjoining vertical edges so that they may be opened out to form a screen, the innermost member 4 being formed with a forwardly projecting flange 7 hingedly connected at its front edge to the front of the deeper side wall so that when the members are in close superimposed relationship their combined thickness is less than the depth of the flange. A locking bolt 9 engages in a socket in the flange 7 and a turn catch 10, for holding the door member 4 in closed position, is provided. The members 4, 5 are connected by screen hinges and may. turn through 270 degrees with respect to each other and the member 5 may make temporary connection, by interengaging joggled plates, with a door of another cupboard to provide a screen extending across or lengthwise of a caravan.
