Abstract
914,081. Cabinets. FERRETTI, A., PARVIS, T. F., and BEVILACQUA, F. F., [trading as DITTA A. FERRETTI]. Nov. 18, 1960, No. 39839/60. Class 52 (1). [Also in Group XV] In a suspension filing cabinet for drawings or the like (see Group XV), doors 8 9 at the front of the cabinet a hinged lid 6, and telescopic suspension rails 16, 17 are interconnected by linkages 21, 22a, 26, 29 and 31, so that on raising the lid, the doors 8, 9 are opened outwardly and the suspension rails extended. The lower door 9 has a shoot 12 attached to its rear surface, which co-operates with a fixed plate 34 in the open position of the door. Alternatively, the cabinet is provided with a shutter at the front which rolls up into a compartment in the base of the cabinet, Fig. 10 (not shown), and the shoot 12 and suspension rails 16, 17 projected forwardly through the open front of the cabinet on raising the lid 6.
