Abstract
332,969. Manashe, J. June 29, 1929. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Expanding tables.- In a table built up of a plurality of sections, the sections have connecting - devices mounted adjacent to their meeting edges so that they can be readily connected or disconnected. A slotted bracket 13, Fig. 6, having a pivoted tongue 5, is mounted adjacent the edge of one section and a slotted bracket 7, having a spring- pressed plunger 8, Fig. 5, projecting into the slot, is mounted in a similar position on the edge of an adjacent section. To connect sections the tongue 5 is moved into the slot in bracket 7 and plunger 8 engages with a recess 9 in the tongue. Two of these connecting-devices are mounted at the meeting edges of adjacent sections. Specifications 174,156 and 189,708, [both in Class 44, Fastenings, Lock &c.], are referred to.
