686.262. Yarn package holder; creels. PEARSON, E. May 28, 1951 [June 26, 1950], No. 13257/50. Classes 120(ii) and 142(iv) A yarn package holder comprises a substantially horizontal slotted bracket A adapted to be secured to the frame of a creel or machine, the free end a of the bracket being bent upwards and formed with horns or tips a<SP>1</SP>, a substantially horizontal spindle b mounted at one end on the bracket and extending forwardly through the slot therein, a plate B, preferably of conical shape, affixed on the spindle outside but adjacent to the upturned end of the bracket and a balloon or other spring C mounted on the spindle forwardly of the plate. Preferably the spindle is pivotedly mounted on the bracket.
