Abstract

686,193. Lifting cradles. FOWLERS DAIRY DEVELOPMENTS, Ltd. July 4, 1951. [July 5, 1950] No. 16742/50. Class 78 (iv). A hoisting cradle for crates of bottles, has two members 141 and 17 for the hoisting hook so that the cradles may be raised vertically or tilted so that it may be placed manually on its side. The cradle comprises base members 11 and members 10 and retaining members 18 and 20. One member 141 comprises a pin secured centrally between two transverse members secured to two longitudinal members. The member 17 also comprises a pin secured to extensions 16 of the transverse members. Specifications 604,324, [Group VI], and 632,483 are referred to. The Provisional Specification includes struts hinged near the upper end of bars 18 which are intended for the cradle to rest upon in the tilted position.
