Class 52(v) A clothes support comprises a frame 1 pivotally attached to a shoe 6 by a detachable vertical pivot pin 3, the shoe 6 being slidable vertically in a co-operating back 7 with inturned edges 8. The shoe is held in adjusted position by means of a turnbutton 12 which in its horizontal position engages stops 11 in the track. Blocks 22, slidably mcunted on the lower edge of the frame 1 are provided with pivots 24 from which cross-members 25 with slots 27 are suspended. Slats 28 provided with endmembers 29 adjustable within the limits of a pin 31 and slot 32 movement and having flexible members 34 to hold the clothes in position, fit within the slots 27 of the crossmembers. The device is adjustable by means of a cord 38 passing over a pulley. For packing, the members 25 are turned to lie parallel with the arm and clips 42 hold the slat members.
