Abstract

876,088. Brackets. HASTRICH, F. Sept. 9, 1957 [Sept. 7, 1956], No. 28316/57. Class 52(5). A tray 5 for use as a car table has a suspending element at one side for temporary engagement with a support such as a car window frame 11 and a buffer 15 freely suspended from the element and positioned automatically between the element and the support to maintain the tray horizontal. As shown legs 7a of a U-shape wire frame 7 are detachably engaged in apertures 6 in the base of the tray and are secured in the infolded edges 12 of a sheet metal hook 8, a rubber buffer 15 of rectangular cross-section being secured in one end of a flexible strip 14 the other end of which is secured to the bridge 13 of the frame. The large or small dimension of the buffer is used to adjust the tray.
