720,133. Supporting brackets. STEPHENSON, N. Dec. 14, 1953 [Oct. 28, 1952; July 2, 1953], Nos. 27124/52 and 18359/53. Addition to 708,428. Class 52 (5). The adjustable bracket support of the parent Specification has the rib or ribs provided on the side face or faces of either the channel or the part fitted therein replaced by rows of pins 63 which engage the grooves 65 formed in a bearer member 64 for the bracket 56. Alternatively the ribs are replaced by guide members which are constituted by inclined fingers 120 projecting from the bearer and which engage grooves 123 in a support member 122. The guideways 84 or guide members may be provided on a supporting element 82 which is detachably interlocked with a separate holding device 85. Alternatively the supporting element 94 is a substantially channel-shaped strip clamped over the edges of decorative stands 97, 98 one or both edges of the strip being formed with grooves 96. In a further construction the supporting member may be formed in a sheet of metal by providing the sheet with guide members or guideways in one or more rows, the metal then being folded to form one or more flanges projecting from the face of the material, each of the rows of guide members or guideways being located on the side face or faces of one of the projecting flanges.
