Abstract

614,776. Cabinets ; seats. FREEMAN, A. July 29, 1946, No. 22501. [Classes 52 (i) and 52 (ii)] A cabinet or seat framework comprising a number of articulated frames has secured to it pliable sheet material which is then stretched by maniputation of the frames which are finally secured in position. As shown a cabinet framework comprises vertical frames A, B hinged together on hinge pins 7. The frames B are moved towards the frame A and an appropriate length of sheet material 8 secured to the frame members 5 of the frames B which are then moved outwardly until they pass the position of alignment of the frames A, B and finally the frames are secured in the desired position whereby the sheet material 8 is stretched over the frames.
