Abstract

Compositions for making sheets comprise polyvinyl chloride and cork, the latter being present by weight either in excess of, or less than the weight of the resin. Optionally the compositions may contain a plasticizer such as di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate, and dioctyl phthalate, a lubricant, e.g. stearic acid, a stabilizer, e.g. lead carbonate, pigments such as diatomaceous earth and whiting, and colouring matter.
