Abstract

680,901. Fusible cut-outs. SANDERS & CO. (WEDNESBURY), Ltd., W. May 22, 1950 [May 21, 1949], No. 13618/49. Class 38 (i). A cartridge fuse carrier has the contacts 13 for engaging the caps 11 (a) of the cartridge fuse 11 slidably mounted within the carrier so that they may be slid either to engage said end caps or to free the cartridge for removal and replacement. The carrier comprises a hollow rectangular body 10 open at the bottom and with inwardly-directed, cylindrical projections 12 at opposite ends on which the clip sections 13 (a) of contacts 13 are slidably mounted. A projection 10b on the body forms a bed for the cartridge and prevents the contacts from becoming detached from the projections 12. Flat portions 13b on the contacts guide them in the body. Instead of sliding on the projections 12, the contacts may have flanges sliding in grooves in the body. Specifications 522,711, 601,941 and 621,316 are referred to.
