678,880. Roller mills. ROBINSON & SON, Ltd., T., and FIELDEN, F. May 3, 1951 [July 3, 1950], No. 16515/50. Class 59 In a roller mill for cereal grain, each supporting arm 1 by which the roller 2 is adjusted relatively to a fixed roller 3 rests on knife edges 4 on a cap 5 of a compression spring 6 carried by a rod 7 which is suspended from a lever 10 adapted to be adjusted by a screw and nut device 11, 12, and provided with a counterbalance spring 14 or weight. The spring is supported at its lower end by nuts 8 on the rod. The lever 10 is fulcrumed on the eccentric 16 which effects the coarse adjustment, and the nut 11 is pivotally mounted in a plunger 17 slidable in an arm of the lever.
