[A]so in Group XII] A feed hopper assembly for a boiler furnace includes an upper and a lower portion, said upper portion, whilst connected to said lower portion, being displaceable forwardly and downwardly with respect thereto and away from the boiler front so as to afford access to that part of the boiler front to which it is normally adjacent. As shown in Fig. 1. a hopper comprises a lower portion 11 and an upper portion 12, the upper portion carrying the mechanism for a supporting fire door 13 and being connected to the lower portion by links 23 at each side of the hopper which allow the upper portion to be swung away from the front of the furnace. The chain 14 supporting the fire door 13 is provided with a removable link.
