Abstract

677,652. Moulding dough. SORENSON BAKERY EQUIPMENT, Ltd. March 8, 1951 [March 7, 1950], No. 5656/50. Class 87(ii) Dough is sheeted by rollers A, passes on to a flipper conveyer belt B the delivery end of which is adjustable, and is flipped end over end by the belt B to fall on a conveyer belt C running at right-angles to the flipper belt, the dough pieces being coiled and consolidated on the belt C. The flipper belt runs over rollers B<SP>1</SP>, b<SP>2</SP>, tightening jockey roller b<SP>3</SP> and adjusting roller B' the bearings of which slide in slots b under control of hand wheels b<SP>1</SP>. By this adjustment the dough pieces may be centralized on conveyer belt C. The coiler is made of chain mail in two parts, one part d resting in U formation on belt C and the other part d' trailing on the belt, this arrangement keeping the dough pieces separate. The consolidator comprises pressure plates D<SP>1</SP> mounted on crank levers d<SP>2</SP> which may be adjusted to regulate the consolidating pressure by means of screwed rod d<SP>4</SP> and handwheel d<SP>5</SP>. At least one pair of sheeting rolls is adjustable as by handwheel a<SP>1</SP> and gearing a<SP>2</SP>. Specification 600,930 is referred to.
