Abstract

1,117,508. Rolling dough. VEREINIGTE BAECKEREIMASCHINENWEBKE VEB. 17 Sept., 1965, No. 39677/65. Heading B5A. In apparatus for feeding a continuous wheat dough strip to dough dividing and working machines, dough at the outlet of a storage hopper 1 is rolled between two opposed roller groups 3, 4 each of which is mounted for rotation between a pair of levers 5, (5<SP>1</SP>) and 6, (6<SP>1</SP>) respectively with the shafts 7, 8 of the lower pair of opposed rollers also mounted in the hopper housing 2 whereby the levers 5, (5<SP>1</SP>) and 6, (6<SP>1</SP>) are pivotable about shafts 7, 8 to vary the relative angular inclination of the roller groups 3, 4. The opposed levers of each pair 5, 5<SP>1</SP> and 6, 6<SP>1</SP> are relatively simultaneously adjustable via threaded bushes 12, 13 on the ends thereof through which spindles 14,14<SP>1</SP> are threaded on right and left hand threads respectively with the adjustment drive transmitted to spindle 14<SP>1</SP> by a chain 17 from handwheel adjusted spindle 14. Each roller group is rotated from shafts 7, 8 in synchronism with the dough dividing and working device. Resiliently mounted roller scrapers 10 are provided to form a continuous path between each roller pair.
