675,813. Boxes. GILLETTE SAFETY RAZOR CO. May 2, 1950 [May 3, 1949; April 19, 1950], No. 10783/50. Class 18 A box adapted to contain a razor and a blade dispenser has a compartment for the blades, partition walls protecting the blades from excess humidity due to a wet razor being replaced in the box. The partitions 24, 25 are carried by the body and lid and are spaced a short distance from each other when the box is closed. Supports 40, 41, 30, 31 on the lid and body may secure the razor 15, and webs 29 may support the dispenser 16. The dispenser may alternately be secured against rattling by a folded cardboard strip (not shown). The rear wall of the lid may leave a gap above the rear wall of the body when the box is closed, for ventilation purposes, and may have a notch engaging a tongue 28 on the body to strengthen the hinged parts against sideways displacement. Grooves 150 may be provided in the lid and body to permit securing boxes in stacked relation between upright supports in a display stand. The lid may be transparent.
