Abstract

731,893. Boxes. MULLARD RADIO VALVE CO., Ltd. July 30,1953, No. 21162/53. Addition to 695,780. Class 18. [Also in Group XVIII] The shell for accommodating a predetermined number of cartons claimed in the parent Specification is modified in that a separate, rectangular, zig-zag strip divides the shell into compartments. As shown, the shell consists of a cardboard sheet folded to form walls 2 ... 5 and divided into compartments by a zig-zag strip 6 which is secured to the shell by adhesive. The butt joint 7 of the shell is secured to a surface of the strip 6 and to a part 11 of a stop 10. The stop comprises parts 11, 12 and 13, and is hinged to the shell at 14 to enable the shell to be folded flat.
