Abstract

674,355. Collapsable containers; hand powder-distributer. SQUEEZ-EASY DISPENSER & CONTAINER CO. Feb. 7, 1950. [June 1, 1949]. No. 3145/50. Classes 18 and 66. [Also in Group XXIX]. A collapsable container 10 made of rubber, polyethylene, nylon, or vinyl resins &c. e.g. for dispensing powders, or liquids as atomized jets, has a filler plug 13 screwed into an integral neck 11 through which may pass an outlet tube 16 immersed at 17 in the liquid &c. 19, and an air duct 20 for atomizing, a thin lip 21 sealing the container when the cap 22 is screwed down. A crossridge 14A at the top of the cap 22 mates with a groove 14 for removing the plug 13. In another form a metering chamber containing a moving ball is at the lower end of an outlet tube extending deep into the container and extended by a detachable, curved tube which may be stowed inside the cap.
