Abstract

672,950. Gutter brackets. WILESMITH, M. July 27, 1950. [July 27, 1949] No. 19691/49. Class 52 (v). A gutter supporting bracket comprises a back plate 4 with its outer edges turned over to form channels 2 and a front plate 3 carrying the gutter receiving arm 10, slidably mounted in the channels 2. The back plate has slots 5, 6 and the front plate 3 has corresponding holes 15, 16 so the gutter supporting arm may be adjustably mounted. A projecting lug 7 is provided at the foot of the back plate 4 so that if the fixing screws snap the plate 3 will not slide out of engagement with the channels 2.
