Abstract

903,985. Sliding panel supports. CLIVE INVESTMENTS PTY. Ltd. Aug. 4, 1959 [Aug. 7, 1958], No. 26578/59. Class 20 (3). A sliding panel supporting bracket is of Z shape with its flanges parallel and connected by a flat web 4, the lower flange 3 being adapted to be adjustably secured as by the slanting slot 8 and holes 7 for screws, to the panel and the upper flange 10 has mounted thereon so as to rotate parallel thereto a support roller 9 adapted for running on a rail parallel to the panel and at least one inverted channel integral with or attached thereto with a free flange 11 depending below the roller edge. Preferably the end portion 12 of this free flange 11 is flared outwards from the flange 10 and aligned with the outside of the roller. A resilient rubber plug 14 is inserted in the outer end of at least one channel. In a modification, the bracket is non- adjustable with respect to the panel and the shaft of the roller is adjustable in a slanting slot in the flange 10.
