Abstract

908,526. Letterbox door plates. LILLY & SONS Ltd., B. Feb. 15, 1961 [Feb. 19, 1960], No. 5896/60. Class 18. A door plate of the kind having two fixing bolts 8 each adjustably mounted in a slot 10 in a carrier plate 7 on the back of the door plate has the end 17 of each carrier plate 7 turned up to form a stop which engages the door when nuts on the bolts 8 are tightened thereby preventing the carrier plates 7 from being pulled away from the door plate. In a modification the bolts may be adjusted vertically by arranging the slots 10 vertically. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 823,288.
