667,237. Golf-bag carriers. RANDALL. J. E. Nov. 28, 1950 [Nov. 28, 1949], No. 30485/49. Class 108(1). A wheeled golf bag carrier has an inverted U-shaped tubular frame 1 the side arms of which are turned outwardly and threaded at their ends to mount wheels 3 on spindles 2 by means of wing nuts 4. A hollow lug 5 providing an upwardly directed socket and a downwardly directed socket is welded to the upper part of the frame 1 to accommodate a handlebar 6 and a stem 10, which are received in the sockets and held in place by captive pins 7, 11. The lower end of the stem 10 has an upturned end 13 which together with a U-shaped bracket 14 welded to the end of the stem, supports the bottom of the golf-bag. A similar bracket 16a mounted on a short post 16 welded to the lug 5 is provided to support the upper end of the bag. When the carrier is to be stowed, the handle-bar 6 and stem 10 can be detached from the lug 5, and the wheels may be removed by unscrewing the wing nuts 4.
