665,789. Ventilators. AKTIEBOLAGET SVENSKA FLAKTFABRIKEN. Aug. 16, 1949 [Aug. 25, 1948], No. 21344/49. Class 137 An air diffuser consists of a rectangular frame 5 across which channel section members 7 are secured so as to leave slots between them through which air can pass. Each member 7 is formed from a rectangular metal plate folded by a press tool into a channel having a semi-circular base 8 and straight limbs 9 and 10 diverging at a small angle. Some of the plates are bent to give limbs of equal length and some to give limbs of unequal length, the two kinds of plate being assembled in the frame 5 so that the rounded edges 8 and the ends of limbs 9 and 10 lie in common planes and so that air passing through the distributer is spread fanwise.
