Abstract

1,051,103. Ventilators. ALLIED THERMAL CORPORATION. June 23, 1965 [Aug. 27, 1964], No. 26684/65. Addition to 1,043,476. Heading F4V. The deflecting element of a slot diffuser comprises a cylinder 53 movable between two positions in which it contacts opposite side walls 20 and 21 of the diffuser, the cylinder being retained in these positions by springs 54 and concave profiles 45 and 46 of slots 43 in plates 38. Air flow to the diffuser is controlled by a manually operated damper 61. Preferred dimensions are disclosed.
