Abstract

948,385. Ventilators. AMERICAN RADIATOR & STANDARD SANITARY CORPORATION. June 19, 1961 [June 28, 1960], No. 22114/61. Heading F4V. Fixed louvres 5 have apertures 10 threaded on to channel-shaped support bars 4, the louvres being locked in angular position relative to the bars by tongues 11 taking into slots 15 in the webs 14 of the channels and by parts 16 of the flanges 13 of the channels being offset under the louvres to jam the edges of the apertures 10 opposite to tongues 11 against the edges of flanges 13. The louvres are mounted in a rectangular grille frame 1 of angle formation by passing the ends of bars 4 through apertures 20 in the frame and then bending out parts 21 of flanges 13 to engage behind the frame 1.
