Class 142(iv) [Also in Group XXV] Stringer tape for sliding clasp or other fasteners to be welded to thermoplastic garments has a warp of natural fibre, for example, cotton, and a weft of thermoplastic material which melts below the scorching temperature of the warp, for example, "Vinylite" (R.T.M.); or the warp threads at the edge to be welded may be "Vinylite" and the remainder cotton, the weft being all cotton. Cords are sewn to the fastener carrying edge to form beading. Specification 592,759 is referred to.
