A D.C. load circuit a is fed by two or more paralleled rectifiers g separately supplied on their A.C. sides from the same or different sources through circuits each containing a voltage transformer d, boost transformer e and load-equalizing transformer f. Each boost transformer is controlled by a saturable reactor n, the D.C. excitation of which is regulated by a carbon pile h having a winding i responsive to the load volts and a loadequalizing winding j. The windings j of the two piles are connected in series and energized from the load equalizing transformers over rectifiers k and potentiometers k.
