[Also in Group XXVIII] A dust collector in apparatus, e.g. a cyclone separator for removing dust from air comprises a box-like casing 2 having an opening 1 in its top wall forming an outlet from the cyclone, and containing a dust bin 5 having its open top clamped against an elastic sealing gasket 4 by levers 8 rocked by a shaft 7 to elevate a base 6 supporting the bin 5. The shaft 7 is held in position by its control lever 10 engaging a spring latch 11, and the bin 5 is removed for emptying through an open side 3 of the casing 2.
