Abstract

662,349. Manure distributers. McFADZEAN, C. T. Jan. 11, 1950. [Feb. 9, 1949] No. 3512/49. Class 6(i). A manure distributer comprises a hinged hopper 5 mounted on a frame 8, 11. Three landwheels 14 are provided with dibblers 21, and each is situated in front of a spring-mounted drill plough 24 provided with reversible digging points 25. Manure is distributed through spouts 29 from a distributer mechanism driven from a landwheel by chain and sprocket gearing. The machine is fitted with an upstanding frame 18 for attachment to the upper link of a tractor power lift mechanism, the lower links of the mechanism being attached to pins on the frame 11. Wheels 34 are adjustably mounted in brackets secured to the frame 11 and ground markers 35 are adjustably mounted on a support 36 hinged to a bracket 39. Specification 420,020 is referred to.
