660,484. Boxes. THYNE, Ltd., W., and EASTON, R. O. June 4, 1949 [March 18, 1949], No. 7415/49. Class 18 The sides and ends of a box formed from a single cardboard blank are joined by gussets, extensions 20b of one pair of gussets carrying members 22 forming inner thicknesses of the end walls. The extensions 20b are secured to tabs 18b on the opposite pair of gussets, sides 12a, 12b being folded on to the base 11. A collapsed box is thus formed which is erected by turning the end walls 13 at rightangles to the base 11 and folding the members 22 inwardly to enclose the folded gussets against the walls 13 Tabs 23 on the members 22 engage slots 25 to hold these members in position. Extensions 13a fold inwardly to support a lid 15. Score lines on the blank have cuts 24 to assist folding.
