660,339. Pipe joints. COLAMIN RAINWATER PRODUCTS, Ltd. Oct. 17,1949. No. 26646/49. Class 99 (i). Two pipes 4, 7 are connected by a tubular member 1 fitting within the end of the pipe 4 and surrounding the end of the pipe 7 and having an axially-extending flange 8 forming with the smaller end an external annular channel 9 open towards the extremity of the said end and an internal surface 10 between the ends which is outwardly flared towards the large end and constitutes a smooth arcuate or compound curve struck about a centre or centres outside the tubular member. The member 1 may be made of sheet metal such as steel or iron, or from a plastic, and provided with apertured ears or lugs.
