658,279. Grillers. LAGNEAU, V. June 11, 1948, No. 15793. Convention date, July 31, 1947. [Class 126] [Also in 'Group VI] A gas-heated griller is provided with a sheet of wire gauze which is carried by a frame and extends over and is secured to the burner, combustion gases passing round the wire gauze when it is brought to incandescence. The gas-heated griller is provided with two burner tubes 1 each having a heat-resisting wire gauze radiant 3. The radiants 3 are strengthened by a metal frame 4, a slot 6 being provided between them. The radiants 3 are fitted to the burners at one end by clips 7 and are hooked to the griller support at the other end by hooks 9 on a cross-bar 8 fixed to the radiants 3 and the burners 1. Radiants 3 may be made from steel or nickel-chrome wire in the form of sheets, gauze, grids, coils or loops.
