653,688. Boxes or cartons. BOXFOLDIA, Ltd., and FOYLE, J. R. May 15, 1948, No. 13367. [Class 18] A box or carton made wholly or partly of resilient flexible sheet material such as resilient cardboard, transparent cellulose acetate sheet, celluloid sheet or plastic material, and comprising a curved wall, is provided on one or both ends with a closure piece connected foldably to the box body and having one or more tongues 15 spaced from the fold to engage apertures in the adjacent wall portion so that, on squeezing the box adjacent the end. the tongues become detached from the apertures and the closure piece is displaced outwardly to provide access to the contents. The box may consist of a cylindrical tube permanently closed at one end and provided at the other with a closure piece foldably connected to an attachment portion secured to the outside of the tube. Alternatively, as shown, the box may comprise a tray-like base 11 and a transparent bowed top 10 secured together by tongue- and-slot connections, such as those described in Specification 653,687, and have closure pieces 14 integral with the base. The opening in the curved wall may be a cut out slot or it may be formed by slitting the material to I or H configuration.
