652,791. Support and shutter-release mechanism for photographic cameras. CUCHET, R. Jan. 28, 1948, No. 2619. [Classes 97 (i) and 98 (i)] A support removably attached to a photographic camera has a hand grip with a spring - loaded finger-operated shutter release mechanism. As shown, the hand grip 3 has a central threaded rod 4 attaching it to the tripod bush 6 of the camera 1, and carries a casing 12 divided by a partition wall. One compartment houses a lever 9 terminating in a trigger-shaped piece 8 sliding between cheek pieces 7 on the grip, and moves in guides 17, 18, when the trigger is pressed, against the action of a spring 11 to depress the camera shutter release 2 by its head 10. The other compartment of casing 12 may house accessories. Specification 370,648 is referred to.
