652,771. Warp stop motion. KONINKLIJKE TRICOTFABRIEK G. J. WILLINK N. V. June 4, 1948. No. 15138. Convention date, June 17, 1947. [Classes 142(i) and 142(iv)] '[Also in Group VIII] A stop motion for controlling a warp of threads comprises a conduit 3, extending along one side of the warp 1, from which air under pressure is directed on to the warp by a nozzle 2 to carry a broken thread on to a carded roller 6 rotating on the opposite side of the warp to the conduit. The roller 6 draws the thread round a pin 9, extending along the warp on the same side as the roller 6, and which is attached by a yoke to a rotatable rod or tube 7, the yoke also carrying a pin 10 which is connected to a contact 12 of an electrical circuit. The pull of the thread causes the pins 9, 10 to revolve about the rotatable rod or tube 7 which movement closes the contact 12 to operate the stop-motion of the machine.
