[Class 2.0(iv)] The joints between plaster boards F forming a foundation for a plastered wall or ceiling are covered by metal strips A perforated at B and of curved cross section, Fig. 4, holes C being provided along each edge of the strip so that nails can be driven through the hole and the plaster boards F to secure the strip and the boards to the wall or ceiling supports E by a single operation.. When the final plaster facing D is applied, the plaster passes through holes B and enters the joints between the boards thereby forming an effectual key. Specification 437,693 is referred to.
