[Class 107] [Also in Group XXI] Mounted on a tractor and carrying at its front a materialhandling implement such as a bulldozer blade, scoop or rake, is a U-frame 17 on which are hinged the upper sections 24 of ground ripping teeth the lower sections 23 being hinged to the upper sections 24, each tooth being so arranged, that when the tractor advances, the sections jacknife, but when the tractor retires they dig into the ground as an abutment 28 on the upper section engages the frame and holds the lower section extended so that it projects below the bottom of the earth-handling implement. When not in use, the lower section of each tooth can be held clear of the ground by a latch 29 secured to the frame, or the tooth can be held in a folded position around the frame.
