644,562. Industrial oven. ROBERTS, T. A., and HAPPERFIELD, G. J. Feb. 23, 1945, No. 4619. [Class 51 (ii)] I A heating oven comprises a chamber 1 having. radiation reflecting walls, a horizontal partition 5 removably mounted substantially centrally within such chamber, and sources 3 of radiant heat provided within the chamber so as to direct heat against both sides of the partition, said horizontal partition comprising two relatively movable perforated members spaced apart from one another, the perforations in the two members being of sufficient size to permit pellets placed on the upper member to drop through both members when the perforations in the two members are in register, one of such members being movable laterally to a position where the perforations are out of register, when the pellets placed upon the upper member are supported by parts of the lower member. The horizontal partition 5 may be removable either through a slot. in a closed wall of the chamber 1 or through doors formed by a wall thereof. The partition may be constructed of rock glass, wire netting or perforated -, sheet material.
