1316435 Cookers NOEL DE MILLE & CO Ltd 15 July 1970 [15 July 1969] 35483/69 Heading A4D A cooker of the kind intended for preparing cooked snacks has an outer casing 10 with an inner horizontal partition 14 defining two cooking compartments 12, 13 disposed one above the other, each having sets of radiant heating elements 17, 18, 19 at its upper and lower walls. The set of elements 19 between the two compartments is arranged to radiate simultaneously into both compartments. Timers 20, 21 are provided to control operation of the heating elements in compartments 12, 13 respectively and a door 11 gives access to the compartments. A fan may be disposed in the rear wall of the cooker to circulate heated air. The heating elements are preferably silica glass tube encased infrared elements. Reflector plates 15, 16 are provided, the plate 16 acting as a drip tray and the plate 15, together with the top of the casing 10, being removable so that a cooking vessel may be heated when placed above the cooker.
