Abstract
In the electro-deposition of nickel, the anode consists of a cathode sheet of electrolytic nickel the metallographic structure of which has been modified to an equi-axed grain structure by treatment of the sheet at a temperature in excess of approximately 1250 DEG F, preferably at a temperature of approximately 2000 DEG F for about an hour. The heating may be conducted in a suitable furnace such as a salt bath or muffle type. U.S.A. Specification 2,358,995 is referred to.
