643,761. Claw clutches. BAMFORD, C. J., and BAMFORD, H. V. Jan. 14, 1948, No. 1086. [Class 80(ii)] [Also in Group I] A fertilizer distributer (see Group I) 'has a clutch mechanism for transmitting a drive from a land wheel 29 comprising a spring urged sliding member 32 having clutch teeth engaging teeth on a sleeve 28 associated with the wheel 29 and teeth on a member 31 fixed to a shaft 14. The clutch mechanism is disengaged by pulling a cap 40, fixed to member 32, in an endwise direction and slightly rotating the cap so that projections on the end of the teeth on member 32 engage in recesses in the ends of the teeth on member 31.
