Abstract
643,091. Floors. PRONK, W. Nov. 18, 1947, No. 30548. Convention date, Feb. 26, 1941. [Class 20(iv)] A floor comprises hollow concrete beams placed side by side, each of rectangular cross-section with two spaced, equally projecting flat-nosed longitudinal ribs 1, 2 on its side faces; the upper ribs 1 lie below the top to provide a space 3 between adjacent beams open on the upper side only and having its maximum width below the floor surface, this space being filled with concrete; the under surfaces of the lower ribs 2 are flush with the beam bases. As shown the ribs 1, 2 define an air space 6 and the space 3 is undercut at 4 alternately on one side and the other.
